Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is to visit Nicosia on Friday

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is to visit Nicosia on Friday where he will hold meetings with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.

The talks will focus on the developments in the region and coordination between Greece and Cyprus ahead of the upcoming EU Foreign Affairs Council, as well as on the Cyprus issue, a foreign ministry announcement said.

While in Nicosia, Dendias will also participate in the 27th Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), held by video teleconference.

The meeting will focus on promoting dialogue on security issues, tackling terrorism and extremism, promoting human rights, as well as fighting corruption and organised crime in the OSCE area, a foreign ministry announcement said.
