16 refugee minors will join their families in Britain on Monday

Sixteen unaccompanied refugee minors and thirty-one adult asylum seekers in Greece are scheduled to be reunited with their families in the United Kingdom on Monday, sources at the Greek Migration & Asylum Ministry told Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) on Thursday evening.

All 47, adults and children, will depart from Athens International Airport at 09:00 on March 11.
The relocation follows the recent migration collaboration agreement signed on April 22 by Alternate Minister of Migration & Asylum George Koumoutsakos and British Justice Minister Chris Philp. It foresees the information exchange and close cooperation of both countries’ border police and justice system to tackle the migration issue.
