The 32nd International Tourism exhibition Philoxenia will open on Friday with the participation of 621 exhibitors, 383 visitors and over 5,000 scheduled meetings.
“Northern Greece is an important crossroads of culture, history, religion, and art, Deputy Interior Minister Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha said. “The combination of tourism opportunities created can constitute packages that will attract visitors throughout the year,” she said and added: “This year’s Philoxenia is an excellent opportunity to move forward, to the establishment of this new culture, which will enable us to conquer and consolidate a leading position in the field of international tourism.”
The international show Philoxenia is the absolute destination for all operators of the tourism sector. For 2016, the most significant, the longest running and the largest tourism fair in the country, welcomes trade visitors and public in November 18-20 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Conference Center.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura.
