An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale shook the island of Zakynthos, according to the Institute of Geodynamics at the National Observatory of Athens.
The announcement said the tremor struck at 01:03, 55 kilometers south-west of Zakynthos.
There are no reports of injuries or damage.
