HFSF selects Pavlos Mylonas as new CEO in National Bank

Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) in a meeting on Tuesday selected Pavlos Mylonas as a new CEO for National Bank of Greece, according to sources. HFSF will present this decision at a National Bank’s board meeting scheduled in the last week of July, ahead of an annual general shareholders’ meeting of the bank.

Pavlos Mylonas is acting as CEO in National Bank since early May, after Leonidas Fragkiadakis left the bank and has acted as deputy CEO in the bank since June 2014. He has been working for National Bank for 18 years and is considered to be one of the most experienced executives of the domestic banking sector.
