The 32nd Athens Run, open to anyone who wants to participate without being timed, will be held on Sunday, December 2.
Established in 1982, the 5km and 10km races are organized by the City of Athens and its culture, youth and sports department (OPANDA). Both start at Syntagma Square at 10:00 a.m. (the 5km one in front of the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb and the 10k race at Ermou Street) and end there as well.
Participants in the 10km race must be aged 15 or older and for the 5km race 12 or older; the same age limits also hold for participants with disabilities.
Registration will remain open until Friday, November 30 (23:00) at www.opanda.gr, but runners will be able to register on the day of the race, between 08:30 and 09:30 at Syntagma Square.
