European Union member states will accept digital Covid certificates from Armenia and the United Kingdom, according to two new European Commission decisions announced on Thursday, while the two countries will also recognize the EU Digital Covid Certificate.
The decisions will enter into force on Friday (Oct. 29).
As Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders commented, “Safer travel is a reality thanks to the EU Digital COVID Certificate, which is now the leading global standard: 45 countries in four continents are connected to the system and more will follow in the coming weeks and months. We are open to other countries to join our system.”
