More business collaborations with Saudi Arabia on the way

“We are pleased to host more than 70 very important companies from Saudi Arabia following our visit a few months ago and following the very good cooperation that the Prime Minister has with the heir of Saudi Arabia,” Secretary General of International Economic Relations and Extroversion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Giannis Smyrlis said from Santorini.

Highlighting the importance of the presence of the large Saudi business mission, Giannis Smyrlis stressed that their presence in Santorini and tomorrow in Athens proves that they want a lot of collaboration with Greece.

“We have over 130 Greek companies that will be in the business forum tomorrow and we have more than 250 bilateral business meetings scheduled. This shows, in such a short period of time since the previous visit, which took place in March, that we are progressing smoothly and that we will soon have announcements of other private business partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Greece. In addition, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be present. There will be a meeting of the business fora of the two countries tomorrow night, which means that we are going much deeper and we expect together with Saudi Arabia in the coming years to develop tourism and industrial investments, but also the cooperation in technology, know-how. between Greece and Saudi Arabia,” said the secretary general.
