Greek state debt stood at 357.43 billion euros at the end of the third quarter of 2022, down from the highs of 359.11 billion euros in the second quarter.
Based on the data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the primary surplus at the end of the third quarter, according to ESA, was 1.34 billion euros.
The primary surplus of the General Government amounted to 1.347 billion euros in the third quarter of 2022, according to the provisional data for the quarterly non-financial accounts of the Hellenic Statistical Authority. In the corresponding period of 2021, the primary surplus of the General Government was 719 million euros.
The revenues of the General Government in the 3rd quarter of the previous year amounted to 27.438 billion euros against 23.350 billion euros in the 3rd quarter of 2021, while the primary expenditures amounted to 26.091 billion euros from 22.631 billion euros in the 3rd quarter of 2021.
As for the General Government debt, at the end of the third quarter of 2022 it stood at 357.431 billion euros from 357.369 billion euros during the corresponding period of 2021. In the second quarter, the General Government debt had climbed to 359.110 billion euros. euro.
