A wildfire broke out in Moutsouna, Naxos island. The blaze is burning scrubland and according to the Fire Brigade it was reported at about 09:04 on Wednesday.
A message via the emergency number 112 was sent to the residents of Moutsouna to abandon the area.
Three fire engines with a 6 member crew and a water dropping helicopter are battling the blaze.
