Two bodies were found in a forest area in Xylokastro, in an area where a wildfire broke out on Sunday and spread quickly due to strong winds, according to the Greek police.
Firefighters were battling the flames throughout the night. The Fire Brigade announced earlier on Monday that the fire has no active front but several scattered fires are still raging.
