Mitsotakis: Greece will eventually have a land registry in 2025

Greece will finally have a land registry in 2025, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said on Tuesday during the discussion of the bill of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

“Greece was the only European state without a land registry in the 21st century. A pending issue that this government had to solve, because in 2025 our country will finally have a cadastre, an accurate map of public and private real estate, with forests and beaches now demarcated, where what belongs to state and what belongs to the citizen is clearly marked and with clear rules that will facilitate collective development as well as individual transactions – and all this without loopholes of arbitrariness and lawlessness,” the prime minister noted.
