A 65-year-old man has appeared before an Athens prosecutor for insulting, threatening and physically assaulting a 27-year-old man apparently because of the victim’s sexual orientation.
On Sunday, the man, together with another person, had made abusive gestures from his car at the 27-year-old man and another person aimed at their sexual identity before driving off.
They later returned, got out of the vehicle and threw the 27-year-old to the ground, injuring his shoulder.
Police are searching for the second individual.
