Athens-listed PPC Group is marking its dynamic expansion in the Bulgarian renewable energy sources market with the start of the construction of a new photovoltaic plant with batteries, with a total installed capacity of 165 megawatts.
PPC is strengthening its green portfolio with the construction of the “Colosseum” in the Stara Zagora region in central Bulgaria.
The new photovoltaic park’s 165 MW will be added to the 18 MW of installed capacity of the Garda wind park that PPC Group already operates in Bulgaria. Besides the 208 MW of RES in operation or under construction, the group has another 550 MW of RES in Bulgaria at various stages of development.
