Mellon Technologies participated in an “Alliance for Digital Employability” initiative aiming to reduce unemployment in Greece through the creation of new job positions in the IT sector.

The initiative is addressed to young unemployed, university graduates of positive sciences, excluding IT, or young people with an algorithmic mind.

In this framework, the 1st Coding Bootcamp was organized by the Athens Economic University, CEPIS and HePIS. Coding Bootcamp is an intense 14-week program, offering selected candidates education and training in the programming sector and in application development. After the successful completion of the program, certified candidates could work as full-stack developers on Java or C#/.

“We are very pleased that we in Mellon participate in this initiative aimed to support the new generation. Our country has very well trained new programmers, who could be absorbed in the labor market,” Charis Konstantinidis, managing director of Mellon Technologies said.
