A boat with 36 refugees and migrants arrived on Sunday at Tsonia beach in northeastern Lesvos. According to sources, the passengers are of African and Afghan origin.
They remained at the port until they were tested by an EODY team. Then they will move to Megala Therma in northern Lesvos, in order to be placed in a 14-day quarantine.
It is the third boat arriving at Lesvos in May. Two more arrived on Wednesday, May 6 with 51 passengers and on Sunday, May 17 with 19 passengers.
Arrivals to the rest of the islands are zero since mid-March.
