ADMIE reports 25.6 pct rise in 2019 net profits

ADMIE, the Independent Power Transmission Operator SA, on Wednesday reported a 25.6 pct increase in its net profits to 102.9 million euros in 2019 compared with the previous year.

In an announcement, ADMIE said that ADMIE Holdings – listed in the Athens Stock Exchange – reported a 28.4 pct increase in net profits to 53.7 million euros. The company’s board will recommend paying a dividend of 0.118 euro per share (gross), up 31 pct from 2018 and a 0.089 euro per share in gross pre-dividend for 2020.

Investments soared 40 pct to 249.3 million euros in 2019, as ADMIE implements its program for the interconnection of Cyclades islands (81 million euros), the Crete-Peloponese interconnection (62 million) and the Peloponese West Corridor (45 million).
