Administrative reconstruction ministry says it foiled hacking attack against PM’s webpage

The Administrative Reconstruction ministry announced it averted on Friday a hacking attack on the prime minister’s official webpage, according to a press release issued earlier.

“An attempt today by unknown individuals to hack the prime minister’s webpage was successfully averted, as no alteration or interference with its content and digital data was made possible,” the ministry said.

The webpage and other government webpages are using “the strictest protocol and most modern methods for their electronic security, so as to limit and address attempted violations,” it continued, adding the relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to identify the source of the attack.
