African dust concentration to subside by Tuesday night, Nat’l Observatory says

African dust that was carried north by winds on Sunday continued to lower visibility in southern Greece and the Aegean on Monday, with meteorologists saying the phenomenon is subsiding and will cease late on Tuesday night.

The National Observatory said that dust concentration in the cities of Methoni (Peloponnese) and Chania (Crete) on Sunday reached 270 micrograms per cubic meter.
