African low to bring high dust concentrations in the next few days

High concentrations of dust are expected over the central and southern Aegean in the next days as a low pressure front from North Africa heads toward southern Crete.

In the next hours, the Athens National Observatory said, rainfall is expected to fall, mainly on Crete, becoming more intense and spreading to the southern and central Aegean during the night.

Rainstorms are forecast on Wednesday in the region of Crete, the Dodecanese and South Cyclades islands while showers are expected in Central Greece, eastern Thessaly and the Peloponnese.
