ANA sources: Institutions view primary residences amendment favourably

The amendment on the protection of primary residences voted by Greek parliament on Friday is reportedly viewed favoUrably by institutions in Brussels, said anonymous sources to Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

According to the same sources, European institutions are waiting for the secondary legislation following up on the law before drafting a final review that will be presented to the upcoming Euroworking Group.

The final decision for the disbursement of nearly one billion euro tranche to Greece is expected to be decided on by the Eurogroup scheduled for Friday, April 5 in Bucharest. The 970 million euro tranche is the return to Greece of profits generated by Greek bonds held by central banks of Eurozone members and the European Central Bank.
