Arab-Hellenic Chamber calls Greek companies to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq

On the occasion of the 3rd Annual Iraqi European Entrepreneurship and Investment Forum to be held in Athens on 11 and 12 July, and following its efforts to strengthen Greece-Iraq business relations at all levels, the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development, in cooperation with its key partners in the Forum, the Baghdad Chamber and the Chamber of Erbil, calls on Greek companies interested in taking part in the reconstruction of Iraq to express their interest in transfer of technology and know-how and / or participate in joint ventures with their Iraqi counterparts.

The initiative, as noted in the Chamber’s announcement, represents an excellent opportunity for Greek and European companies with an interest in the Iraqi market, at a time when the reconstruction of Iraq is proceeding rapidly and the modernisation and construction of the country’s infrastructure require specialisation and business expertise.

It is also noted that the new investment law provides all the necessary conditions for foreign companies to successfully and freely operate in the country, making Iraq one of the most attractive business centers in the Middle East

The new deadline for the submission of data is 27 April 2018.
