The region of Arcadia will go under high-alert as of 0600 on Thursday, as a means of restricting the very high coronavirus infection rate, authorities said on Wednesday.
In addition, the coastal and historic city of Nafplio will also be placed under stricter measures.
The decision was taken by Deputy Minister for Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias in agreement with the Health Ministry’s coronavirus health committee.
The measures for either area will remain in effect until 0600 on Monday, March 1.
