Arrivals at Athens International Airport up 6.5% in January 2018

Arrivals at the Athens International Airport rose by 6.5% in January 2018, compared to the same month in 2017, airport authorities said on Monday.

In terms of numbers of flight, there was an overall rise of 4.8% (from 11,898 in January 2017 to 12,471 in January 2018). The number of domestic flights dropped by 1.6% year-on-year (from 5,029 to 4,950), but international flights rose by 9.5% (from 6,869 to 7,521), airport authorities said.
