The Athens Medical Association (AMA) will send a group of volunteer doctors to Gaza to assist Palestinians injured during protests against Israel, and called for interested doctors to apply.

In a statement on Tuesday, the AMA said “the expenses of the mission will be covered, and it will work in safe areas where medical care is provided to civilians.”

Specialists sought include orthopedics, surgeons, and anesthesiologists, among others, it said. Interested doctors can apply at isathens2@isathens.gr.
