Autohellas announced that its turnover totaled 150 million euros in the first half of 2017, from 118 million in the same period last year, while EBITDA rose to 47.5 million from 41 million euros, respectively.
Pre-tax earnings totaled 12.4 million euros in the January-June period this year from 9.3 million in 2016, an increase of 33 pct, while after tax earnings rose to 10.4 million euros from 8.7 million in 2016.
Autohellas invested 86 million euros on a car fleet renewal program, raising its fleet by 6,000 cars to a total of 39,000.
Car leasing business grew 15.7 pct, the highest rate in the last 10 years, while sale of used cars grew 29.6 pct compared with the same period in 2016. New car sales rose 42.9 pct.
