Hellenic Bank Association (HBA) said that banks would continue all their operations as usual, including the resupplying of ATMs with cash.

As part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus, however, it encouraged clients to use electronic transactions more, and to rely on card payments instead of cash.

It added that bank branches would observe health and safety regulations for both staff and public.
