Police says bomb threat at Thessaloniki courthouse was prank call

Police said the phone calls received by its emergency number earlier on Wednesday for the existence of two explosive devices inside Thessaloniki’s courthouse and in a van parked outside were a prank call.

A bomb squad unit checked the building and the van and didn’t find anything suspicious. Traffic on 26th Oktovriou Street, which passes outside the courthouse and had been closed off, has been restored.
