Centrists Union will not support government or Prespes deal, Leventis says

The Centrists Union party says no to providing a vote of confidence in the government and no to the Prespes Agreement, the party’s leader Vassilis Leventis said on Monday.

Speaking to the Patras radio station ‘Max FM’, Leventis said the break up between coalition partners SYRIZA and the Independent Greeks (ANEL) party was “staged” and, if Kammenos had really wanted to prevent the Prespes Agreement from reaching parliament, he should have withdrawn support in June.

“Now it’s too late,” he added, while he criticised the movements of MPs from one party to another, noting that they were elected on a different party ticket from the one they now supported, which was politically unethical.
