Collective labour agreements a strategic target of labour ministry in 2018

Reintroducing collective labour agreements in August 2018 and creating full-time quality jobs based on market needs are among the priorities of the labour ministry, according to a decision by minister Efi Achtsioglou published Tuesday.

The document was posted on the “Diavgeia” site, which provides public access to government decisions.

Other strategic targets set out in the paper include the improvement of the social insurance system (EFKA) platform so it’s more user-friendly, developing real estate assets of the ministry or its agencies, developing a national strategy for the inclusion of Roma, and setting up a system for social solidarity and inclusion, especially children and vulnerable social groups.

Each strategic target will be elaborated by the ministry’s relevant department.
