Creta Farms on Thursday announced its entrance in the Romanian market through a Licensing & Supply agreement.
In an announcement, the company said that Romania is the most rapidly developing economy in Southeastern Europe, with the local market of delicatessen meat products totaling 1.5 billion euros annually, triple the size of Greece. Based on these figures, Creta Farms has made detailed research and studies -that lasted 16 months- with excellent results of wider acceptance both of the concept and of its En Elladi products.
Creta Farms said its products will be on the selves of supermarkets in mid-January 2017 and in the channels of wholesale and open markets, through a strategic agrement with a local partner. Both sides will support an ad campaign to a population of 22 million euros. The Romanian partner has a customer base of 28,300 and has a workforce of 450 of which 296 in the sales department.
Creta Farms said it was certain of a quick penetration of patented products in Romania and noted that its activities were expanding in other sectors, such as cheese, ready meals (pizza, pies, etc) with the aim to become a food company.
