Connecting research and innovation with entrepreneurship, strengthening competitiveness and the extroversion of Greek companies and the transition towards quality, innovative business activity with the aim to raise domestic added value, will be one of the basic topics of discussion during the 3rd Delphi Economic Forum.
In this framework, speakers from international research centers and universities, along with representatives of large enterprises with activities in Greece and abroad, will have the opportunity to begin a dialogue on seeking the best production model for the country, which will lead to sustainable growth and the creation of new jobs.
Speakers will include Steve Vranakis, Executive Creative Director – Creative Lab Google, Alice Gast, professor and president of Imperial College, London and Nili Shalev, head of Israel’s Research and Innovation Department. Greek speakers include Nikos Moraitakis, CEO in Workable, Constantinos Panagoulias, vice-president in VIANEX SA, Nikos Koutsianas, chairman in APIVITA SA and Dr Vasilios Grigoriou, president of the National Research Institute.
Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Charitsis, EU-funded Public Investments Secretary-General Panagiotis Korkolis and Yiannis Tsakiris, an official from the European Investment Fund responsible for Southeastern Europe, accompanied by executives from international funds, such as Venture Friends, Peak XV Advisers, DECA Investments AIFM, EOS Capital Partners, First Athens, NBG Business Seeds, etc, will focus on ways to improve financing for enterprises.
The 3rd Delphi Economic Forum will bring together more than 1,500 people from the business community, academics, diplomats and representatives of Greek and foreign small- and medium-sized enterprises.
