The volume of private building activity jumped 38.9 pct in October last year compared with the same month in 2017, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday.
The statistics service, in a monthly report, said that a total of 1,575 building permits were issued in October, up 23.2 pct from October 2017. In the 10-month period from January to October, the volume of private building activity rose 18.8 pct compared with the corresponding period in 2017.
