Employees in private TV stations to hold a rally outside parliament on Monday

Employees in private TV stations will hold a rally outside parliament on Monday (October 10) to protest against the possible closure of the broadcasters that didn’t win a TV license in a tender launched last month and demand the signing of collective labour agreements.

To facilitate the rally, the Athens Journalists’ Union and the Athens Daily Newspapers Staff Union have planned a work stoppage between 10:00 and 15:00 on the same day for all the employees (journalists and administration) who work in the TV stations Alpha, Antenna, Makedonia, Mega, Skai, Star and Epsilon.

The rally is scheduled for 10:30.
