Eleven new confirmed coronavirus cases and one death were announced on Monday by the National Public Health Organization (EODY) in the last 24 hours, with two of the new infections identified at entry points to Greece.
Of the remaining nine new infections, three people requested a diagnostic test, three cases were located in Thessaloniki region, two in Attica region and one in Karpathos region.
The total number of cases so far since the pandemic’s outbreak in Greece totals 4,102 of whom 54.7 pct are men. Of these, 1,112 are related to travel abroad, 2,051 to a known case and the rest are of indeterminate cause.
Fatalities from Covid-19 in Greece have now reached 195. The median age of the deceased was 76 years, and most had underlying issues.
A total of 12 individuals are at intensive care units currently; 83.3 pct of these are men.
Some 413,760 tests (including retests) have been carried out in Greece since the start of the outbreak on January 1, of which 6,172 (1.5 pct) tested positive
