Manfred Weber, chairman of the European Peoples Party in the European Parliament, wished Greeks well on the October 28 (1940) national holiday on Thursday.
“Happy National Day to all our Greek friends! Oxi Day marks the day when Greece entered the World War II saying ‘NO’ to fascism,” he said in a tweet.
