Equity prices were dropping on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.25 percent, standing at 629.65 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 10.17 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.50 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.00 percent.
On individual sector indices the biggest gains were in Constructions (+0.63 percent) and Telecoms (+0.36 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Food (-2.17 percent) and Banks (-1.65 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 25 were up, 26 were down and 20 were unchanged.
