Equity prices were falling on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 1.01 percent, standing at 576.30 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 7.42 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.21 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.81 percent.
On individual sector indices, only Technology was moving upwards (+0.41 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Banks (-2.08 percent) and Financials (-1.70 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 12 were up, 39 were down and 23 were unchanged.
