The stance of Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem is provocative, main opposition New Democracy (ND) parliamentary spokesman Nikos Dendias said in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Sunday adding that his statements on the elections were at least unfortunate.
Dendias leveled against the government and accused the partners of being co-responsible about the agreement and the “unconceivable” tax measures taken.
He estimated that the economy has not really improved in our daily lives adding that there can be no sustainable development if the primary surplus target is not reduced below 3.5 pct. “And this is the main challenge for New Democracy when it wins the elections; to persuade the partners to reduce it,” he stressed.
Moreover, the ND parliamentary spokesman harshly criticised the government on security issues adding that lawlessness prevailing in the country.
