Eurogroup meeting can bring a comprehensive agreement, says Papadimoulis

Monday’s Eurogroup must and can offer a comprehensive framework agreement, not only for the conclusion of the second review and the disbursement of the tranche in June but also to give a road map on the debt relief and on realistic primary supluses, stated europarliament vice president and head of SYRIZA group in the europarliament Dimitris Papadimoulis speaking to the public broadcaster ERT on Sunday.

Papadimoulis appeared optimistic that Greece is getting into a course of positive news underlining that “We must work hard to cover the lost ground, to heal the wounds created by the bankruptcy and the memoranda but what is for certain is that we are getting into a course that will bring positive news and the end of the severe supervision in the summer of 2018”.

Concluding he said “This agreement is the release from the supervision and the government’s target is to finish for good with the memoranda in the summer of 2018”.
