Eurogroup meeting on Monday will not include Greece on the agenda

The Eurogroup that convenes on Monday, February 11 will not include Greece on its agenda, a senior Eurozone official said here on Wednesday.

As has already been reported, the issue of the return of 600 million euros to Greece representing the first tranche of returned profits (ANFAs and SMPs) of European national central banks from Greek bonds will be made by the Eurogroup in March.

Monday’s meeting will have a short agenda, the official said. One of the issues to be discussed is a proposal for a separate Eurozone budget to promote competitiveness, convergence and stabilization, a project that has not progressed notably and which is expected to result in heated debate, he said.
