Eurogroup notes progress in Greek program review, urges for work and reforms to be completed

Eurozone’s finance ministers discussed the progress made in Greece’s ongoing third program review during the visit in Athens of the institutions’ mission chiefs and the work that remains to be done, EU sources said on Monday.

The discussion at the Eurogroup, which according to the sources was brief, also noted the significant volume of work that is still required by Greek authorities as well as the need to continue reforms with the same intensity.

The same sources said that the head of the European Central Bank (ECB), Mario Draghi, stressed the need to tackle non-performing loans and resolve the continuing abstention of notaries from auctions.
