Eurogroup’s decision created the conditions for stability, VP Dragasakis says

The Eurogroup’s decision created the conditions for stability and prospect so that Greece turns the page, government vice president Yiannis Dragasakis said in statements to the Athens Macedonian News Agency’ radio station Praktoreio 104.9 FM.

“The decision is far from what we would like to see, but it is a decision with positive elements that are recognized internationally. It facilitates the government to implement the plan for the institutional and productive reconstruction of the country. The fiscal adjustment has been completed. Moreover, it makes more visible the way out of the memorandums and any discussion on a 4th memorandum,” said Dragasakis.

Yesterday’s decision, he said, “is the result of multiple compromises both between creditors and between lenders and the government,” and “its key element is that it creates stability, prospect and the conditions for turning the page.”
