Greek annual inflation rate was 0.6 pct in October from -0.1 pct in September, Eurostat said on Thursday.
The EU executive’s statistics office, in a report released here, said that the annual inflation rate in the Eurozone was 0.5 pct in October, from 0.4 pct in September and 0.1 pct in October 2015. In the EU28, the annual inflation rate was 0.5 pct in October from 0.4 pct in September and 0.0 pct a year earlier. Six EU member-state recorded negative inflation rates, with Bulgaria and Cyprus leading with -1.0 pct each. Belgium (1.9 pct) and Austria (1.4 pct) recorded the highest inflation rates.
