Year-on-year inflation in Greece rose to 1.1 pct in November 2017 compared with 0.5 pct in October and -0.2 pct a year earlier, according to data released by Eurostat on Tuesday.
In the euro area, annual inflation was at 1.5 pct in November compared to 1.4 pct in October and 0.6 pct a year earlier.
At an EU level, annual inflation was at 1.8 pct in November, up from 1.7 pct in October and 0.6 pct a year ago. The lowest annual inflation rates were recorded in Cyprus (0.2 pct), Ireland (0.5 pct) and Finland (0.9 pct). The highest annual inflation rates were recorded in Estonia (4.5 pct), Lithuania (4.2 pct) and the United Kingdom (3.1 pct).
