Eurozone finance ministers to meet in Berlin Friday on Greece

The finance ministers of Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands plan to meet in Berlin on Friday with officials from the International Monetary Fund to discuss Greece’s debt crisis.

The meeting on Friday in Berlin, within the framework of Washington Group, is not an extraordinary meeting, according to Finance ministry’s sources. The same sources said that financial issues will be discussed, including the Greek debt.

Washington Group is an informal group consisting of the Finance Ministers of the four largest eurozone countries (Germany, France, Italy and Spain) as well as the institutions (Eurogroup, ECB, IMF).
