EWG meeting on Monday for the disbursement of the 2.8-billion-euro loan sub-tranche to Greece

The EuroWorking Group (EWG) will meet on Monday to approve the disbursement of the 2.8-billion-euro loan sub-tranche to Greece, a senior Eurozone official told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Friday.

Earlier this week, the same source had said that the EWG would only be called only if the institutions certify that all the prior actions required by the country’s lenders have been implemented.

This means that the official approval for the disbursement at Monday’s Eurogroup is very possible.
