The government plan for bad loans’ extrajudicial settlement will be discussed on Thursday’s meeting wih the heads of the instutions to be held at 14.30. A meeting on active employment policies will follow at 17.00.
The Greek government estimates that an agreement at technical level can be achieved by March 20. Meanwhile, the German government considers that the gap between the two sides is rather small.
On Wednesday, during a joint press conference with Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister Alexis TSIPRAS said: It is “perfectly feasible” for Greece to complete the second program review with its lenders on a technical level in time for the next Eurogroup meeting on March 23.
