The Greek economy will show growth for both 2018 and 2019, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said in Patra on Monday.

Speaking at the 9th regional conference on productive reconstruction, Tsakalotos noted that according to a formal announcement today, “Greece is returning to international markets this week.”

Among other improvements in the economy, the minister said that “our economy’s basic sectors are the energy networks, transport, the ports, trains, telecoms, and, naturally the agricultural sector.”

He also said that Greece “needs its own investment bank and to choose its own plans for investments.”
