First regular flights from abroad arrive at Athens International Airport

Some 28 international flights arrived at Athens International Airport on Monday, the first day of both Athens and Thessaloniki airports reopening, ahead of all of Greece’s airports opening on July 1.
The first international flight of the day came from Larnaca in the morning, followed by flights from Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Doha, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, Sofia, Vienna and Zurich.

Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis was present at the airport to welcome some passengers and also inspect facilities.
